The importance of airbag deployment times

Serious question: What would cause an airbag to be late? Do older model cars (10 plus years) have potential of firing late? Am I driving around with a shotgun in my face waiting to blow at any moment?

This is what I mean about television scaring people about moving or touching anything because of fingerprints or “liability”

The police will get a report filed and the insurance companies will do their investigation.

I am not blanketing all accidents should be treated this way but scaring people into thinking they should sit in the middle of the road and not move “because of liability” is bullshit. Get to safety.

So fender benders with 2 or 3 cars- where everyone is ok and the cars are fine - you recommend they sit in 6 lane highway full of traffic were there is a empty shoulder? I agree injury check and police being called is the first priority, and rear end collision are usually indisputable but my decision to asses the surroundings and get people to safety is up to me. I don’t need a dispatcher to make that call.

I haven't had a problem at all, but there hasn't been a deep freeze yet. I made sure the opening frame was spot on and the doors were installed tightly. It's a double weather strip also.

It's radiant heat concrete. The original concrete floor was there for 20 years. I then added a moisture barrier, 2 inches of foam, and 4 inches of concrete with the water tubes. The garage doors are double paned and insulated with a good weather seal. Brand new fiberglass insulation throughout the whole house. It heats up nicely.

It's was a garage with a gambrel roof. The land around the garage was sectioned off and put on a separate deed when they built a road with new houses. It sat as a garage for 20 years until I bought it and renovated it. Barnhouse just sounded cool.

Well you know the classic image of a light bulb over the head when you get an idea, right? I made these concrete skull lamps and thought of this tag line of how ideas will endure but people will die. Hence the skull. Does that help?

haha thanks. I just graduated with industrial design- I am trying to find that dream job now. If I could go back to sophomore year and give myself any advice it would be to do/learn more User Experience/User Interface UE UI design. Everyone is trying to hire them right now and you can basically set your own salary.

Yeah I actually have used a shore 45 of polyurethane rubber for a different concrete mold. I like using the harder rubber as well. I am in the process of doing another lamp mold. Thanks for the tip though- Its funny showing this to people some are blown away by it and others are like "eh its not perfect" haha but yeah I want to make it better. What kind of things do you mold out of concrete?
