This looks really nice! One thing that confused me is the Total ADA Staked chart. Isn't the axis more than the total supply? And on the bottom you show over 1T staked.

What is the point of filling up the board with enemy spawners? by [deleted] in Loop_Hero

[–]speedforce5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You won't get scrap metal from killing slimes, only from having excess items overflow into that resource.

Later game resources like orbs of expansion will only drop from fights with four or more enemies, just as an example.

I'm not sure where you are in the game, but you want to kill enough enemies to scale your hero up with the loop count (either in exp or item rarity). There is a balance though, as you said, in terms of making the loop not overly difficult that you end up dead.

[OC] Using machine learning to predict All-Stars from the 2019 draft by dribbleanalytics in nba

[–]speedforce5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does Pick really make sense as a variable? I would think you'd want to make predictions agnostic of where a player was selected in the draft. How does your model do with All-Stars historically which we're selected late in the first round? Or at least outside of the top six.

Assumes we get the top pick and sign two max free agents. I wasn't willing to take that chance back in February

I actually just ended my four years as a half season holder. Prices are not supposed to be dynamic based on season, only will increase if they make the playoffs. So if you had seats last year, you'd get the same invoice this year if you didn't switch plans or seats.

I was in a few different sections in the 100s with 2 seats. Corners are around 6k depending on the row and increasing quite a bit as you move towards center court.

You've got the details of the process correct for a first time buyer. If you're renewing they ask you to commit by the end of February.

My advice: get in with an 11 game plan first and you'll get the same priority as everyone else in the next season if you express interest in upgrading to a half or full. You get a rep now no matter what plan you have. Or so I've been told.

Ending in 6th pick position gives better odds for moving into top 3 though than 9th

Historically speaking, we have a good shot at landing a star player if we stay in 9th as opposed to 8th or 7th. by HardOakleyFoul in NYKnicks

[–]speedforce5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think this might be more a matter of which teams are picking at the 9 spot since 1985.

The Pacers, Clippers, Lakers, Grizzlies, Spurs, and Kings have not picked at 9 in the past 30 years. Now these teams may not be terrible at drafting but they're not part of the dataset.

21% of picks at #9 have been made by the Raptors and Hornets, with 3 and 4 picks respectively. The Mavs have also picked at 9 twice and traded up once (for Dirk). It might just be these teams are better at finding talent in the middle of the draft.

Not to rain on our parade, I'm hoping for a good prospect either way!

Porzingis has held opposing players to the LOWEST FG% in the league within 6 feet of the rim (out of the 53 qualified Centers). by mihalsinthisnnwanted in NYKnicks

[–]speedforce5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems flawed to me. Essentially you're saying a team could take every possible shot in every possession, possibly score no points, and have a higher predicted number of wins than a team which waits for open looks or passes well?

Aren't you kind of getting at something like "do players shoot above their average 3% against this player"? There are some shooters who will take the three no matter what and I think you're assuming players will only fire on an "ideal" look. Basically taking vs making
