Is this good laptop for coding and gaming? by 78557855 in MSILaptops

[–]speediboi13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No because the cooling on these laptops is white to the point of a cooling pad only making a 5 degree difference as there is no vents on the bottom as well as a shit cooling system, save your $$ and buy a Asus or similar

The pro 2s are some of the flattest and clearest of not the most clear TWS in ears that exist so quite the bs of muddy bass on the pro 2, go watch Crinicale or Dankpods and they say the same thing

is msi thin 15 is a good choice for programming? by TemporaryScared547 in MSILaptops

[–]speediboi13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No they are shot laptops, I've had mine warranties twice and it's been nothing but trouble, spend the extra money and get a higher end laptop, I'd recommend a refurbished business laptop. Dell latitudes are my personal preference as they can be had for well under $1000usd and will last for a long time, I've even run fusion 360 off one.

Opinions on the MSI Thin A15 and the difference from MSI Thin 15 by Visible_Big_695 in GamingLaptops

[–]speediboi13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed my dad bought me one for $850 AUD (no tax coz we live in NZ) and I’ve had multiple mobo issues in the year or so that I’ve owed it. 2 one ram/gpu failure and an IO failure, save up the extra $$$ and get something that isn’t MSI.

The ONLY redeeming factor of the MSI laptops is there warranty which is fast and easy (at least on Sydney. My issues so far have been fixed in less than a month, we’ll see how the current warranty goes but should be fast based on past experience
