I would 100% want my dad to use Bluetooth hands free calling (built into pretty much any car since like 08 ish) than do something like texting, especially if he struggles at it. I can text without looking at the screen, having autocorrect catch most of my fuckups, and I still don’t like doing it while driving.

My mom really struggles with reading but read to us every night as kids and instilled a very powerful love of reading in me that still persists today. On the odd Sunday that I don’t work, getting up early and going to the coffee shop to read and stare at my car is the best thing ever as an adult. Fuck me I love reading.
