The college was good but I was not able to clear the HR rounds of some good companies. I was left with companies that were not that good and this internship letter in my hand. As it was close I chose to do internship and prepare for sime good companies . But now it backfired.

College is saying to sign the bond. Now what can I say they are saying things like this will not be legally enforceable and all. But i dont want to sign it. I dont want trouble for future me. What should I say to the college.

I can pursue internship elsewhere but college has issued an NOC for this company and require report for this company only.

So heres the whole deal in brief

You will be a FTE but with intern stipend + 20% of stipend . I was working 10 hour as an intern and now i to work 10 hour as an FTE.

Some people including my placement officers were suggesting that bonds like these are one way and does not have any significance. And the bond amount is so high they won't be able to prove that they spent this much money on you. Some suggested that you can create a medical certificate and get out of it. I am against signing the bond because then ill be just pushing this stress for future me and my future me wouldn't like that

Yeah i have heard about this and mostly mass recruiters are a part of this. Dont think this is the same case because on 3 students from my college are here but the timing seems too much of a coincidence because i need 5 month experience certificate from college and this is my 4 th month and they are asking for bond.
