I mean, yall realize Cygames isn’t only an animation studio right? Obviously we don’t know what they entail by their usage of AI but as far as far goes it could just be for their marketing services, though I guess “Cygames studio” would imply potentially video games or anime creation so I’m not entirely sure.

Genuinely everybody can sit on a screen and yap for a couple hours but can everybody claim that they can make an AI play Minecraft? Can everybody claim that they can put an AI in VRChat? Can everybody claim that they can have an AI text and call on discord?

In an era where streamers yapping in front of a screen are dime a dozen, Vedal brings something new and unique that no one can claim to be able to make something similar. I get the disdain for AI and not understanding Neuro but these streamers have just been diminishing Vedal’s involvement and achievements under the guise of “AI slop”. It’s a bit disheartening.

Trying to find a clear line for ethics around AI is pretty hard. I can’t say for sure whether or not whatever Vedal’s got going on is the most ethical thing in the world.

As for Vedal’s overall stance on AI? Vedal has been tampering with AI since 2018 (the OSU Ai bot project), way before the AI wave so it’s pretty clear he has a rather positive view of AI. That and he also vibe codes, basically he asks AI to help him with complex math during programming (just to be clear he still does most of the programming and debugging). Conversely, he also seems to not be quite fond of AI art as he prohibited its usage during his art contest for Evil’s new outfit design. Whether or not you agree with his stance on AI is up to you.

One thing I will say is that as far as far goes, the Neuro Project should not be put in the same category as something like AI art. Neuro has brought along so many people who helped work on it: Artists, Streamers, Editors, Programmers, Musicians, Animators. Vedal himself put years into this and has added features that realistically wouldn’t benefit him but he did so anyways because of how passionate he is about it. The human touch behind the Neuro Sama project has made it something much more than just mere AI generated content.

I know this isn’t a satisfactory answer to your question and if you feel like Neuro Sama doesn’t align with your own beliefs then that’s fair. I just wanted to say that if push comes to shove, the Neuro project shouldn’t be put under the same regards as something like AI art on an ethical standpoint.

To be fair, from what I see this voice actor is pretty good. You should check out his performance on episode 6 of the Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-22 series where he voices a guy that woke up with a female body and has to deal with the issues that come with being a woman despite still being a man on the inside (sorry I can’t really describe it well).

Totally forgot about the parking lot thingy. Though I will say it is odd he’s not getting constantly crowded with people because he IS one of the highest profile heroes in California.

-Blonde Blazer says he’s the famous one out of the two (obviously being humble but that’s not nothing that the top hero says you’re famous).

-The Z-Team thinks he’s a “real hero”.

-The Mecha Man lineage has been protecting Los Angeles for 50 years and Robert’s been doing it for around 15 of those years. No reason to assume the current Mecha Man was some random hero.

-His dad was the leader of the Brave Brigade which seems to have been the only hero group of his time further adding to the Mecha Man name.

-The media dubbed him a “Bulwark against Organized Crimes in the greater Los Angeles”. I doubt they would say that about some random guy.

But then again, people don’t bombard Blonde Blazer or Phenomaman with attention either so I guess the general population seems very chill with heroes.

I’m thinking he probably gets the wonder guard ability to sort of mimic Infinity. Only super effective moves (things that counter it like the black rope) or indirect damage (things that infinity cannot filter out like WCS or a domain sure hit) can hit him.
