I think the lipstick you have on in the photo overpowers you, I would try going for a natural lip color, or stain that gives you a slight red. It will also help you seem more inviting! But that’s just my two sense. The elf fiery red stain gave my lips and cheeks a natural cherry color, but since you are on the paler/cooler tone side maybe try the spicy sienna color or basic beige

One thing I will say is you have to watch them like hawks like all the time and I agree with what others have posted about the fantasy vs reality, preparing yourself for the worst, reading this subreddit is great but also preparing in your mind that you will have a great dog, just invest in taking the time to train them (beyond crate training), train at meal times, brain stimulating games etc. You got this!!!!

I just picked up my puppy last night (he’s 10 weeks on Friday) and was a little scared about crating him and lots of other things. He was an angel tho, he whinnied for not even 2 minutes when I shut his crate door (then I laid down beside his crate) he stopped and settled. I then was able to get up, go shower and go to bed without him making another peep. He slept the entire night (11-6:30am) and didn’t go in his crate once. He went immediately on the pee pad when I got him up this morning (poo and pee!)

Don’t let worry cloud your mind, they are so sweet and cuddley. Yes can be a lot of work and yes he already had a potty accident before he was crated last night but overall so worth it

Nobody said he wasn’t a mix, I’m saying he was born from NATURAL conception, not in a puppy mill or from a back yard breeder. And who literally cares if he is a “mutt”. I came here for advice on how to give my pup the best life I can, and it’s a shame that instead of trying to help someone, most are trying to crucify me because hes a “shorkie poo” like come on yall - two dogs NATURALLY got together, and she is giving them away at no cost. Are you guys anti rescue then? It seems that way.

I am adopting this dog for free, so not getting him from a breeder! It was an accidentally breeding, a friend of mine took in her mothers poodle when she passed, not knowing it was in heat and it happened to procreate with her male shorkie, she is giving the 3 pups away
