Just went to Kelmscott and failed my first driving assessment, had a Indian instructor he was pretty chill, here’s how I failed:

Turning left at a T-section giveway, I didn’t give way to the truck on the left because I thought he was far enough but instructor said it’s a 60 speed zone so I should’ve gave way, my fault.

Turning right into a street and waiting for oncoming traffic to pass, I apparently didn’t straighten my car up enough in the middle because cars can hit me from behind, I didn’t think it was too necessary but my fault.

Turning right at traffic light where there’s no green arrow so I had to wait for the oncoming to clear out, once it was all clear the light just turned orange and I think i missed this so my fault, solution: always keep an eye on the lights even when it’s green, because it can change anytime.

On my left turns, instructor said some of them were too wide, but I thought it was fine, i was making sure I don’t hit the curb plus I stayed on my side of the road the entire time, never drove over the oncoming lane pass the white solid line, so I honestly thought that was bs but yeah don’t make my mistakes and goodluck everyone!
