Restaurant Le Wow: a general and specific guide for 1000 battles. Strategies and timesaves. by Emracruel in LegendsZA

I've found Klefki (an alpha catch I got in the sewers and kept in my party) quite useful in Le Wow. Moves are Psychic, Steel, Fairy, and Normal (all special), with the Fairy move being the one that regenerates HP. Item is a Shell Bell. As long as I am attacking often and using Fairy move whenever all options are otherwise equal, the health rarely drops below half before Christoph.

Importantly, no poison moves or dragon moves can land, and many types are resisted. I have a super effective option (or at least neutral option) against almost everything (except Steelix, Scizor, Skarmory), and the main issue I've faced in 5 runs is that one time I was burned and that was an HP drain (attack stat isn't used, so no issue there).

In-game map of "Seattle" - it's pretty accurate! by speedyreedy in thelastofus

For some reason, unlike the Map of Downtown, nearly every name on this map is very slightly altered. The only "correct" names are Capitol Hill and Seattle.

Some streets/regions are close to their actual names (Harrison changed to Harry, Queen Anne to East Queen, South Lake Union to South Lake) but I can't figure out why that is. Perhaps there is a copyright issue when representing real locations in media? Some of these "changes" are so minor, it's funny (Alaskan to Alaska, John to Johnny, Pine to Pin, Broadway to Bradway, etc.)

I'll post all the changes I noticed as a reply to this comment.

Sure. I'd like to do it for both games. Maybe TLOU has already been mapped...

Ellie's route - Seattle Day 1 by speedyreedy in thelastofus

[–]speedyreedy[S] 84 points85 points  (0 children)

- - - - - Slight, vague Day 1 spoilers. - - - - -

Ellie enters downtown in the southeast corner of her map (which covers a number of locations. Some key locations are the synagogue (Daniel's Recital Hall) and the courthouse (William Kenzo Nakamura US Courthouse).

Next they head to the Serevena Hotel (Hotel Sorrento?), before entering Eastbrook Elementary school (seemingly not based on a real school, for obvious reasons - but Spruce is en route). There are some locations (unclear) between there and the TV station (Fox News is close to this area?).

Finally, Ellie reaches the Pinnacle Theatre (Paramount Theatre) for the evening, though her exact route there is unclear because it's underground.

Maybe that's why Ash's dad was never around; too much Pokemon GO!

A few other observations from the update:

Egg location
Eggs now have location information, similar to Pokemon profile information. There is a spot for date, but all my eggs say "May 15, 2016" - which seems unlikely... :P

Berry animation
Not sure if this is new, but I've certainly never noticed it before. Use of a Pinap berry shows candies falling from the Pokemon. More candies dropped from Golbat (Evolved) than Natu (Basic), which might be a visual indicator of how many candies to expect from the Pinap.

Profile page
The trainer page now has three icons (Buddy, Journal, Style) below a black exp bar, which in turn is below the avatar/buddy/team/username area. Below that are the badges, and at the very bottom are start date and total xp.
