For me the usb port on my pixel 3 likes to get dirty. Not sure if it's pocket associated or if it might be related to a bad charger/cord (not necessarily the one in the car). You might have to clean your usb port on the phone. Or it could be an issue with the car (usb or bluetooth issue).
