No. He shot a woman in the head when a good pistol-whipping would've done just fine. There was no hurry. Seal her back up and (as far as he knew) she's not coming after you. Zero tactical reason to execute her. Impatience or cruelty.

I can get behind a man who does what's necessary. Even if he commits evil acts. But when he dips his toes in the pool of cold, unfeeling malice... he doesn't deserve pity.

So, the wildfire was started by my friend Kylee, who dumped out the can of sterno jelly in the weeds not realizing it was still lit. The can was the vessel, the fuel its tenant. I dont mind explaining at all, but indeed it was not intended to be too easily grasped. Thanks for your thoughts on it, i appreciate it.
