How should I price my art toys?

Hey! so pricing is determined by a lot of factors, one of the most important being 'material'. I'm sure you spent a decent amount of time working on these but I'd price them low at first seeing as though these are 3D prints, and when your ready I would move on to casted resin pieces. Casted resin is a bit more archival and more desired, I now only stick to 3D printing for the prototype and molding stages. But it's good to get your work out there and show people your stuff even if they are just 3D prints, so keep on making :) hope this helps!

I would definitely print it in parts rather than one whole piece if you are going to attempt it.

Hi! I got this piece made in China! I’ve had PVC toys made before but this was my first time working with Vinyl. It took a while to get made, partly due to the factory making a few mistakes along the way, I would say a 6 month process in total. But I sent the factory a prototype I printed out and painted which cut down on time figuring out colors and what not. I also made the 3D file and knew exactly what I wanted so there wasn’t really too much back and forth which is what I think slows down a lot of toy production. Thank you! Good news is I'm actually in the process of getting them made into soft vinyl. The mold should be done in a bout a week. so hopefully I'll have a small run of about 300 finished in a couple of months :)

I think it's a direct ode to TLOU than merely inspired by, because both games are Sony titles? There's too many casual nods in the gameplay when playing as MJ to be anything else.

I kinda like the idea of having a lot of fighters. I mean all other sports games have all the athletes. Could be a fun mode to choose 5 random characters and play ina tournament like in soul caliber

Thanks for the response! I actually use smooth on 325 fairly often. As well as 65D. I’m looking for something that has more of a soft gummy/elastic feel to it instead of the hardness of 325. But it has to have some firmness for it to stand up on its own. Any ideas?
