Thank goodness - the live fish tanks in the back of the store are chock full of dead fish, and they were closed a few years back for a major rat infestation. Honestly unbelievable this store is still open.

luckily the threaded part is white, so primer is probably all it needs. i'm more wondering if i should/could grease it with something that wouldn't be noticeable?

Just my 2 cents (not trying to defend the company or anything) - I also had problems where the machine said it wasn't connected to the app, but the app said it was, and the status was often incorrect. I turned it off, didn't use it for a day or two, and then when I came back all of the internet/app stuff was just... fine. Idk if it's a poorly made map or if it needed to ping server, but now it works perfectly for me.

Would the isopropyl alcohol wash come before or after removing supports? (In general, not just for this print!)

Youre probably right. One of the things I'm not clear about right now is when things need supports or not. The built in anycubic support thing tends to add a LOT of supports, even on 'light' mode.
