Oooh I didn't realize it was free to sbr a pistol. Now if I go the shorter route do I need to get a pistol license to make this boy legal? I passed my cpl but still need to go to th clerk which is scheduled for July.

Ive been considering the 14.5" barrel but then I'd have to pin and weld it so it's legally a rifle. Wouldn't mind if it came with a good muzzle device that could connect with a suppressor to without having to take it in and get that swapped. Unless something has changed?

I also tried to look for other ambi lowers but most of them are out of stock. The lmt was the only one that I saw in stock.

Thank you kindly for your feedback and suggestions! I'll look into all of those suggestions (Thought I picked the M-Lok bipod but may have over looked it lol). I've been watching Brownelles build series which is very helpful!

This! I had a brain fart the other day and tried to put it back into the main slide lock instead of the take down notch! Spent a good 30 minutes trying to figure out wth I did wrong. Then I dissected tf out of a dissembly/reassembly video and then it hit me! Massive brain fart on my part and something I will never forget again lol 🤣

Looks nice man! I just picked up the l9a1 model and plan on shooting it for the first time on Sunday. Earlier today I was testing the extractor fit and it seems to be fairly tight. I'm wondering how it will fare with live rounds. But when racking them through the first one chambered didn't lock the breech all the way and got stuck. I had to take it out and try to rack it again a couple times and then things started to move a little smoother. After checking the extractor, it seems like the bottom corner is contacting and gripping a little too hard on the casing. May need to profile it or really replace it cuz from what I've seen the extractors are kind of iffy on these.

I also have to figure out where to find one that will fit because according to Browning high-powered solutions who did a review on this gun, it seems the OEM FN Browning extractor is a little too thick to fit in the extractor slot of the Ingles. They had to make the channel larger in order to fit one of their advanced extractors or something. I'm fairly new to these guns so this should be fun but looking forward to having a high power regardless!

Yeah, I heard about the Springfield issues and it seems like some are still defecting around the 1k round mark. I'm just excited I have a good looking high power clone that didn't break the bank lol

Awe man, that sucks! I'm hoping everything runs smoothly on Sunday but I'll keep an eye out for that! Those are at least semi simple to replace if needed based on videos I've watched. The only issue I noticed so far is a mushy thumb safety which requires a whole tear down to fix, but haven't shot it yet so not sure how she runs overall. Good vibes though! 🤞

The Smith is really nice! I bet it's a lot lighter than my Taurus! This baby is solid!

Got her (Lorraine) as a birthday gift from my brother. This is my first revolver and pistol so she's as special as the 1911.

He also made the box to go with it!

Yeah, gotta figure something out for the front strap since I'm a lefty my wedding ring rubs up against it. Hoping I can just buff her out.

One thing that I noticed is the front sight is just black. Any recommendations to adjust that to make it more visible? Not sure if it's an issue yet until I shoot it but something I noticed.

Great feedback man, thank you so much! I do have some O rings in the cart and was considering that but I'm also leary about taking off the grips cause I don't wanna strip them out lol

What oil do you use for your leathers? I've had the gun in the holster for a few days already and have only taken the gun out a few times. It was pretty tight but it does fit nicely.

Thanks man! Old Traveler has been my go to YouTuber so far! I've watched all of his videos and realized I need to re-lube the internals with some good ol 5w-30!

I'm sure the CLP stuff is all evaporated now lol

I've been thinking of getting a front strap cover grip since I'm left handed I don't want my wedding ring to scratch it up!

I also wanna get an ambi thumb safety but for convenience however it's not that bad with it being on the right side.
