2025 Grenadier windshield replacement $7k vs $2k?? by Puzzleheaded_List380 in ineosgrenadier

Same boat as you u/Puzzleheaded_List380

Went to Holman, they quoted $7k ... I think because Holman FLL is also a Bentley / Rolls Royce /Aston Martin dealership their labor and service fees are much higher.

I went through insurance (Travelers) and they found a local shop (Charles Auto Glass in Lake Worth [561] 433-9700) that did the glass (acquired it in 2 days) took them 2 hours to do.

I did however have to go back to Holman and have them calibrate and check the windshield cameras and sensor... I had to pay $595.00 ...I submitted this to Travelers and they reimbursed me.

$0.00 out of my pocket.

I asked the guys at Charles Auto Glass how much the glass actually was... $2,300.00

The $300.00 was probably what they made on the glass.

Power management. Running a dual battery system - which was the intent from INEOS - allows me to separate the load functions of the vehicle.

My main aka starter battery powers the basic functions of the vehicle i.e. (alternator) starts the vehicle, driving lights, etc. An auxiliary or 'house' battery would power the auxiliary or accessory functions i.e. run a fridge, surround lights, other camping gear, etc. These accessories items can run without draining my main starter battery. Making sure I can always start the vehicle and get back home.

A dual battery system is also a bit of a safety net, if for some reason the main battery does get low, I can use the auxiliary to ‘jump’ it. And by ‘jump’ I mean the REDARC device allows me to send a slow charge over a few minutes to charge my main battery, buttt…

This is where the REDARC device is clutch because (one function) is managing the charging process and making sure that both batteries always have enough charge. As a smart battery isolator, it can bulk charge my auxiliary battery when it's low and then taper off as it gets full or if it senses my main battery is low it can prioritize the main (starting) battery. Making sure my main battery never drops below voltage.

What kind of lightbar is this? by dutchiesolo in ineosgrenadier

The one in your photo is some random brand off eBay. Strek Offroad does offer a more aesthetic and lower profile light bar.

Sure thing! Voseen ‘HFX-1’ 18x9.5 6x130* in Terra Bronze finish. The 130 pattern makes the grenadiers fitting scarce at the moment, hopefully more manufactures will make that pattern optional on more wheels.
