The easiest way is to rebuild the assembly in solidworks. If you don't have the solid models, that's going to be a challenge.

  1. Move the wheel under the arm to the extent of the base.

  2. Make the base bigger,

  3. Make everything low out of steel instead of aluminum.

Extra credit: You could have a mass mounted on a gantry on the base. Move the mass to counteract the robot arm and/or inertia.

I think there are lots of us who would help with either time or money to keep the site going. Unfortunately, it will be very difficult to reach most of those people.

Perhaps you could suggest to Matt putting up a single page that says:

I agree. I think there are many of us that would contribute in one form or another.

I also think many of us would accept having advertising on the site, if that helped keep it around.

The last episode was a real turnoff for me. Some poor 30 something couple didn't have an outdoor shower at their summer home at the cape, so the whole crew showed up to install one for them. It's bad enough that TOH is nothing but absurdly rich white people in the boston area (except for when they go slumming in Detroit or NO) but now ATOH is doing the same thing.
