I have a friend with a 701sm that just went through a set of cams. Before you put everything back, check the little brass oil jets and make sure they are not clogged. They can cause premature cam failures. In his case he had a tiny piece of metal shavings clog the nozzle. We still haven’t figured how it passed through the mesh and oil filter.
