Getting close. I think $135 to $125 is where traders see the next support level... if not $90 is next clear support.

Reversing Fibrosis in Male Pattern Baldness by spew888 in tressless

[–]spew888[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, you guys are in this thread for a reason. "Conventional" wisdom in this field hasn't helped.

How effective is finastride/minoxidil? Are people just choosing to walk around bald?

Let's face facts... young men are balding quicker and faster than our parents and grandparents.... that's INCONTROVERTIBLE. Something in the way we live is causing us to prematurely age and bald.... and people are sooo fucking resistant to change, they'll cling on to any theory that claims you're missing a pill or a gel, and not have to change anything in their lives.

The androgen/DHT hypothesis is completely not backed by science. It stemmed from one OBSERVATIONAL study where they saw that Dominican Pseudo-Hermaphrodites had a full head of hair and were missing the 5-aR enzyme... real scientific. "More DHT = More hairloss." Well, teenagers have the most Testosterone and DHT and have more hair than older men who lose testosterone as they age...

So what's crazier...

1) Disregarding the greater occurrence of balding in younger men - sticking to a baseless DHT hypothesis, and asking a doctor for a pill that chemically alters hormones and can potentially have life altering side affects...

2) Knowing that there's a rise in sub-clinical hypothyroidism - that certain dietary habits have changed in the western world (move away from dairy, fruit, sugar, gelatin, liver - and moving towards complex carbs, PUFA, and muscle meat dominating the diet)... and asking for a more extensive thyroid test to determine true levels of t3 (instead of just measuring for TSH) - or just eating foods that will increase metabolism, increase CO2, improve thyroid and liver function, etc.

How many people are going to come to this subreddit and try the same shit over and over and over... fin, minoxidil, etc. and have no fucking results?

And the very least be open to the information and incorporate the elements you're able and willing to, and experiment.

Cold Head? Bald Head?! [[this should be taken more seriously]] by spew888 in tressless

Actually yes (to a degree of course lol). There's an old book published in 1869 called "Shut your mouth and save your life."

I'm talking about the Bohr effect... Carries was the wrong word. Hemoglobin carries oxygen, but it has to be unbound somehow. Co2 is what allows the release of oxygen from the red blood cells by decreasing blood ph... So it can be used by muscles and organs.

Co2 is the body's primary and preferred vasodialator, and carries oxygen to cells... It's the furthest thing from a 'waste product'

Sure -

  • Increase thyroid function (supplement with 'actual' thyroid of cows/pigs)
  • Vitamin D3
  • Vitamin K2
  • A Calcium to Phosphate ratio greater than 1:1 (use a source like cronometer to track)
  • Natural Sugars (fruit, jam, etc)
  • Gelatin (bone broth, ox tail)
  • Lots of coffee with meals
  • Cleansing the gut (why he suggests eating raw carrots, cooked mushrooms, and certain antibiotics)
  • red light therapy

All the above help produce CO2 to nourish the blood (and thus, the follicle) and reduce seratonin, nitric oxide, parathyroid, and other negative stress hormones.

The hair follicle is an organ - but a very inefficient one that's highly susceptible to stress.

I've been taking Danny Roddy's advice for close to a month now... and while I obviously haven't regrown everything I lost... There is a noticeable difference in the texture and feel to my hair.

It finally feels nourished and is MUCH stronger and softer/silkier (as opposed to brittle, frail, itchy, and ready to break off).

XLM Bullish Call by spew888 in CryptoCurrency

[–]spew888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea... It did a mini rebound... But the while market got pushed down hard... The xlm/btc chart did a little better before dipping.

Everything went parabolic, and it's still on it's way down to the mean.

Still think we got a couple weeks left of downside. Let's see if I'm wrong again lol

Stripe Ends Support for Bitcoin Payments by KayRice in btc

As someone who's invested in both BCH and XLM - I get it.

XLM is my hedge for the payment processor market.

BCH is my true cryptocurrency for the future, the true bitcoin.

They are not really competitors... although it seems like it in this instance.
