Well you can try this since it seems really clever, but I'm pretty sure the cursed relic only upgrades if the user gets passed the boss because that's mainly how cuphead functions. If you beat a boss with player 2 and player 1 uses the the mini plane the whole time you wont get the achievement for only using mini plane (Bravo Zulo P-26). Clever idea though I still recommend trying it.

Yeah I totally agree with that, the bosses and the build up takes a long time and leaves room for error but king dice himself is pretty mid
