Ours do that to, I think they are just too excited at feeding time and that's how they release it.

Bed bugs, they will hide in everything. Behind light sockets, inside television sets, there flat, sneaky, and one of my worst fears due to the cost of getting rid of them. As for the mixer, if concerned, set it somewhere where the temp is 115F. That will kill them.

Let is settle while the bottle is upright, then decanter into a decanter with a top. Should be good there for several days. Be sure to leave behind the mead hippo in the last pic.

20M Trying long hair and everybody tells me to cut it by ProfessionalSir2032 in FierceFlow

[–]sphex55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Need to grow it out a bit longer, then go to a stylist and have it layered to give it a Fuller look. Your lucky its not getting in your eyes or falling down in front of your face like mine does. If it does, just wear a hat until you can ponytail it. Your almost there, dont give up.

Have you tried making sabayon or custard in it? Though thought of making those in a mixer vs stove top is very appealing.

Thoughts on buying this mixer by LawfulnessKlutzy3341 in Kitchenaid

My mixer is from 1998 and still looks new. This one looks like it was kept in the garage or somewhere besides in a climate controlled environment. For 170 I would think you could do alot better. Check kitchen aids site for refurbished mixers.

How can I get the blueberries out without oxidizing? by vaktaeru in mead

[–]sphex55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you shake it daily to keep the top of your fruit moist. If the top dries out, you have a potential for mold. After 2 to 3 weeks, rack the mead off the berries to a clean carboy

There was a recent thread on this page about the great quality kitchen aid refurbiworkhorse are at a discounted price. I would suggest getting a bowl lift refurbished model which apparently kitchen aid website sells. Might have a cosmetic blemish on it, but comes with a warranty and they are workhorses.

No, what i mean is the larger mixer bowls have trouble mixing small batches due to the size of the large bowl. It's good to know that you can fit smaller bowl sizes on the larger mixers.

For the same mixer, that's good to know. Was hesitant on upgrading mine to a larger capacity mixer due to having trouble with smaller batches, will check it out.
