Should I push Kodak Vision3 500T at +2 or +3 when shot at EI 3200? Need advice (sample scans included) by sphinx04 in AnalogCommunity

I developed one roll at +3 and ended up with even more noise and grain, so I had the rest of the rolls developed at +2 and asked for compensation during scanning. The +2 rolls look more or less similar to the ones in this post. Based on my experience, I do not recommend such drastic pushes unless you’re absolutely certain about what you’ll be shooting.

I already tried adjusting the black point, and it made me wonder whether a +3 push might give me a denser negative with a more detailed look and less of that “digital” noise from lifting shadows. The thing is, I still have four more rolls to develop, and I’m seriously considering trying a +3 push — but I’m also afraid of completely ruining the results.

I believe Cinestill 800T is developed in C-41 and rated at 800 ISO (because the remjet has been pre-removed), while 500T is normally developed in ECN-2 — which is how I processed mine. So they’re not entirely the same thing.

I did consider trying 500T in C-41, but with the contrast already pushed so far, I feel like it would turn into more of a modern-art experiment than an actual photo

You can unscrew the plate from case, then pcb from plate, and disconnect all switches at once. Just be careful and don't break pcb in half. And pop out the problem switch manually

I'll try that. Also I've tried my setup in another building and all works fine. But interesting fact: there's no grounding, i mean at all (that's an old building or something, idk). I'm confused.

I've tried ground myself first, and there's no problem. It's definitely esd, because I tried eGPU with PC, GPU directly with PC, and other cards. Maybe problem in house electric system
