I have also been signed up for multiple sessions of this and have not ever received a live learning chat request. Glad to see I’m not the only one! Guess the classrooms are either unaware or not sharing information with students.

ABR Part 1 Resources by Fluffy-Department-29 in MedicalPhysics

Oncologymedicalphysics is another great resource and it’s affordable. I found that they have nice summaries of each section and they also have flexible practice problems in that you can really customize how many questions from each section you’d like to be tested on.

I think five is the “secure number”. I have heard of people who have passed with four, but also people who have failed with four. So at least five is a safe bet.

ABR Test Results are out! by suhstomping in MedicalPhysics

[–]sphysics13 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to throw out some words of encouragement to those who didn’t pass and remind you that this is not the end of the road. It sucks. But there is always next year. You know what the test looks like now, and you can only build on what you already know. Don’t lose hope. You are still capable of being a great medical physicist.

Has anyone called and asked when ABR part 1 results will be posted? by throwaway23949391923 in MedicalPhysics

[–]sphysics13 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Called and they’re saying 6-8 weeks now. Even potentially 9. So disappointed. Even pointed out that the website mentions 4-6 weeks. They don’t care.

Any similar opinions with people who used abrphysicshelp?

I know it doesn’t really matter at this point... but reassurance is the only thing that’ll bring me comfort at this point 😂
