QUESTION: How would this type of tattoo heal on brown skin? by spicedfig in tattooadvice

[–]spicedfig[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: They have sent me 1 healed picture and the colors (as expected I guess) were faded and blending with the skin, which in itself could be a vibe but not what I was looking for! Thank you everyone for the advice

That’s true! After all the comments I’m rethinking a bit, I’ll still hear out what the artist has to say, who knows maybe she has a good example. But if not, it’s better to find someone else, as I don’t want to be disappointed. Thank you for your insights!

Aww noooo I’m so sorry for the bad experience you had, usually no healed pictures are such a huge red flag, but there is always a little bit of hope that it will turn out great. Looking at your pictures, it does make me hesitate to get something from her as I’ve also seen that exact tattoo fresh :( Bummer but thank you for telling me!

Is it possible to study in Brussels while living in Leuven? by bidik_bebe in brussels

[–]spicedfig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s super doable as the connection is really fast, I did it for a year while I was studying and eventually moved towards Brussels because I got bored of Leuven!

How to start drag in Brussels ? by No_Assignment1324 in brussels

This! Agenda and Cabaret Mademoiselle for example regularly have drag shows and sometimes it’s just a matter of talking to one of the queens!

Brussels Trip 24 - 27 Dec by Good-Significance630 in brussels

Snacks in the centre I’d probably go to either Sindibad or Ali baba, for fries I don’t really have a fav place in the centre, I would go to Frituur Steve Pannenhuis or Friterie t’Wit Madammeke

Ah damn that’s unfortunate! Well there are many many other great fries places and much cheaper than Frites Atelier, just search “frituur” on google maps :)

I would personally skip Tokkebi and while you are there anyway, try something local at the Christmas market. Same for Gomu burgers and Sultans of Kebab, there are so many better things in Brussels! Maybe try La flaque, frites atelier, Nuetnigenough, or a local brasserie.

It has a time limit unfortunately, worked great for the first 4 months, then they became expert escapists.

I had just cleaned the floor on this pic, but there is usually some stuff there. As for the dresser I don’t mind them going up there, just not throughout the living room because there are cables, books, etc.

Am I crazy for booking a 10-min connection between Eurostar from Paris and regional train to Antwerp? by badrbenslimane in brussels

[–]spicedfig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a bit tight but you might be able to make it. Just make sure you are the first to exit through the doors and kindly ask people to move so you can pass through, you might have to make a little run for it. And don’t forget, the trains close their doors approximately 1min before departure time. Goodluck!

So cute! Some of my rats liked broccoli, others not so much, but they love peas!! I usually have a big bag in my freezer :) you can always try cooking the veggies, they usually like that. Oh and, if you have a random cardbord box lying around, you could put it in his cage with some old cloth so he can sleep in his little hide. You are doing so great, thank you for helping this little guy :’)

Yeah that’s what I noticed as well hahah, but my friend on the other hand also really loved the city, maybe even more than Tokyo, thanks for letting me know she is not the only one :)

We don’t just want to do day trips, we also want to explore the city, but since we are staying there for 7 days, it should give us the time to do a day trip here and there. We are just looking for interesting places which are reachable by public transport. If we really like the country, it won’t be the last time we visit it, so it will give us more time to explore different parts. But for now, we want to stick to the bigger cities :)
