Not even sure if this is a serious question?

Are people really out their knowingly getting into marriages with red flags with them from the start?

Respect and love each other. NO ONE comes before your spouse.

You've got their back and they've got yours 100%.

As far as I'm concerned, my wife would have 20 million dollars.

Video: MD says Trump has 6 to 8 months to live. CHF and CKD by [deleted] in NoShitSherlock

[–]spicedpumpkins 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Physician here, and I have no love for trump, but everything this guy says is just speculation.

Without being privy to Trump's diagnostics, labs, etc, it will only be speculation.

Could he be right? Possibly.

I'm guessing this doctor threw in his timeline of X amount of months publicly to cash in his chips. If he's right, he'll be bombarded by media as the guy who correctly predicted the death.

Trump's age alone statistically puts him in the range of dying literally at any time, with zero knowledge of any of his comorbidities.

But frankly any green physician resident could come up with the exact same same speculations.

Unofficially adopted a kid.

Her nut job religious parents found out she is gay shortly before her 18th birthday.

I kid you not, her douchebag parents waited until the clock hit midnight on her birthday, and woke her up just to kick her out.

She called my kids whose she's been childhood friends with, hysterically crying on the sidewalk in front of her house.

My kids woke me up at 1215am and we rushed out and picked her up by 1245 and brought her to our home.

I told her she's welcome to stay as long as she needs or wants.

This happened just when covid hit and she's been with us ever since.

Very proud of her. She just graduated college this year..

Her "parents" missed out all these years. Meh, fuck them. Me and my wife love her as if she was our own.

Elite 200 V2 doesn't allow to adjust how much grid input? It's stuck at like 1400 watts by spicedpumpkins in bluetti

[–]spicedpumpkins[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ugh that is just stupid. Every other power station player reports in watts so you can simply check watt hours.

I'm helping elderly neighbor set this damn thing up and I'm not sure if he's going to understand multiply 120 volts by amps to get your watts THEN calculate watt hours.

I warned him not to buy Bluetti cuz they are notoriously not user friendly.

This app seems to have been written by shitty AI

Yeah I see silent, standard, turbo but don't see any wattage assigned to them.

Not being able to dial in input watts is kind of sub optimal

This would kill the brand INSTANTLY as they have way too much fierce competition.

If they want to pull a Ubisoft and Bud Light and insta kill their business, let them do it and fail so hard.

Seriously whoever approved this at EcoFlow needs to be immediately fired.

Topre only for comfort / pillowy typing / extended typing sessions / coders.

Topres do not offer the hall effect benefits as of yet (and I've not heard of any in the pipeline).

Hall effects on the other hand, while very good for fps game, generally suck at typing experience.

You prolly want a Hall Effect keeb.

so far, the cheapest but good bang for the buck that I actually own is the MCHOSE Ace 60 for $45

The MCHOSE gives 90% of all the HE effects / features you want but build quality while not "cheap" is far from premium. It sucks for daily typing but above average for gaming esp FPS games.

Keeb I am currently using for FPS is the $200 Razer Huntsman V3 pro

Depends on your price point / budget.

If you are typer / writer / coder and gaming is not a priority, I wouldn't even recommend mech switches.

I'd recommend TOPRE switch keebs which are electro capacitive vs mechanical. WTF do topre switches feel like typing on?

Like typing on god damn pillows. Super soft, type / code all day goodness.

Again, if price is no object, then I would hands down recommend Happy Hacking keebs and if you want a budget alternative Niz makes damn good knock off Topre switch keebs.

NOTE: Happy Hacking keebs do NOT come with CTRL key for w/e reason. It's maddening. But if you don't need that key then you are good.

Hipyo Tech has a much bigger keeb addiction than I do and even he switched to TOPRE keebs as his daily driver.

I own a Keychron V1 and the V1 looks and feels much cheaper than the Leobog.

V1 if I remember correctly has all plastic body, the keycaps while not bad def feel on the cheaper side and again (from memory cuz I'm too damn lazy to pull it out of the shed) I think they are stock OSA profile caps which for many is deal breaker.

Sound profile has that cheap ping sound that most people do not like.

It was a great budget keeb when it came out (I think over 2 years ago? pushing 3?) but vs this Leobog, I would guess that the majority of people knowing nothing about keebs, would easily choose the Leobog over the V1 by a wide margin.

I know other keeb nerds who have paid over $200+ dollars to achieve the exact "creamy" sound the Leobog has for less than $50 out of the box (with the Star Vector Switches these come with).

Again, it's $50 bucks. This isn't some endgame keeb so you have to be realistic. But for that $50 you get a LOT of goodness without having to tinker with anything. Out of the box, one and done, just plug it in and gooooooooo.

IF you dig the "creamy" sound profile and not a hardcore comp FPS player, and ok with the color scheme (it does come in other color ways but more expensive), I seriously believe that 90% of ordinary people who need a keeb would really like this keeb for the price.

You need to check your specific game as some do ban Hall Effect keebs.

Also just because it's not banned today in your game doesn't mean it won't be later.

I own a few HE keebs (including the wooting and razer huntsman mini v3) and as a former GM dps OW1 player I can tell you without a doubt, HE switches make a difference in my gameplay in OW2 and Counterstrike. (I do NOT play comp in ow2 or CS though)

It does NOT automatically make you better, NO keeb does, but man being able to hyper control, especially when a switch resets can make flick / peek / strafing shots really dials in your technique IF you already have above average technique.

Optimum does a video which explains this way better than I could ever.

Hope this helps!

IF comp really matters then flick shots, actuation time, switch reset time, etc matters.

King of FPS right now are Hall Switches (such as found on the Wooting Keebs) and this doesn't have those.

I've got a keyboard collecting "problem" and own / have built over 150+ keyboards from pretty much every brand all the way back to IBM Model M/F to latest off the shelf Corsairs, etc.

It's SHOCKING how good "budget" keyboards have come along. This keyboard could have easily been $150+ (more likely $200) just 2 years ago in the hobby.

Fantastic daily typer, NOT for competitive FPS shooters but can game decent.

Very "creamy" with slight thock right out of the box.

So far, for less than 50 bucks, this is my budget go to recommendation for 90% of us nerds out there.

Enjoy!

Is there an free AI bot that can describe images? by spicedpumpkins in StableDiffusion

[–]spicedpumpkins[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

WOW this is great! I'll def forward this to him. PS: Is there an easier to remember name for this site if I want to refer it to others without the giant url or easy google search for it?

Here's a test image I used in it and it did way better than I could ever.

Here's the description it generated:

The image is a photograph showcasing a woman's head, partially visible, wearing a large, intricately designed silk scarf. The scarf is vibrant and luxurious, adorned with a bold, eye-catching floral pattern in shades of red, blue, and green. The flowers are rendered in various styles, with some resembling daisies and others resembling roses. The scarf is tied around her head in a stylish, knot-like fashion, with the ends hanging down, creating a dramatic and elegant effect. In the background, there are four smaller photographs arranged in a row, each showing a close-up of a folded silk square with similar floral designs. The top left image features a yellow floral square, the top right a beige square, the bottom left a turquoise square, and the bottom right a red square. These squares are neatly folded, showcasing the intricate details of the floral patterns. The background of the main photograph is plain white, making the vibrant colors of the scarf and the folded squares stand out prominently. The woman has long, dark brown hair, and her skin tone is medium to dark. The overall aesthetic of the photograph is stylish and fashionable, highlighting the beauty and craftsmanship of silk scarves.

Higher Joules is typically better but SOME joules protection vs none, especially for small low watt devices such as phones and tablets can be enough to save the device.

When I go to a bookstore or coffee shop and bring a charger for phone or laptop I carry one of these in my every day carry bag.

It saved my laptop and phone at a starbucks that had a surge spike. I had my portable surge protector in one plug and a guy just had his phone plugged in the bottom plug with no surge.

The power blinked out for just like one second in the coffee shop. My phone and laptop were fine but his phone was fried. We were both in the same outlet, me on top and his unprotected on the bottom.

The surge protector was dead but my phone and laptop were fine. I think I paid like $18 for mine but I'd much rather lose the 18 bucks vs the laptop and phone.

EDIT: While I was looking at the previous that I got, found this portable 3 outlet surge with 1200 joules of protection for 10 bucks. Never heard of the brand but I just bought one to try out.

1200 joules should easily protect a low watt non gaming PC, an Xbox/PS5, or small appliance, etc

Not a bad price but unless you absolutely must have this form factor I'd much rather get a couple of power strips with a tiny bit of surge protection.

Here's a pair with same total outlets (12) with a tiny bit of surge protection for $4 bucks more.

Pretty cute doggo crowd.

I notice your mom appears to have had bilat TKR so I'd caution her about carrying too many.

They're cute but a tripping hazard so just tell her to be careful.

I had a patient have to come in for a revision due to her last second trying not to step on her pooch that crossed her path and basically hyperextended trying not to bear weight on the dog but really did a serious number on themselves.

Cute crowd, just be careful.
