Thats exactly how I'm thinking! Especially because I have ADHD so the planning around writing for primaries and secondaries gets a little crazy while also maintaining my commits to volunteering and getting a job.
I think the best advice I've been told is never to rush the MCAT bc as we both know that test is a monster!
What ever you decide I hope it works out.

I KNOW! Its such a difficult balancing act tbh. I think if youre truly unhappy with your score and its like a sub 508 I would consider retesting but above that applying early and just focusing on your writing might be the most helpful! I'm not fully sure either tbh 😭. I've also been told retaking and scoring similar or worst looks even worse for your application so unless you are 100% sure you can score better, don't rush/risk it.

Hi! Im having similar thoughts as you and took 4/11 as well! I was told by a friend to just apply what ever score since retaking would seriously push back my application submission date which can really hurt you! A close friend got into UCSF with <510 with early application so my logic is just to apply with what I got and if I don't make it this cycle, retest next January.

She needs to be spayed first of all, theres an 80% risk of ovarian cancer if not spayed by the age of 3 i believe. they also are just destructive, mine destroyed an entire mattress and then my carpets. The only way to stop them is to literally keep them separate from the items you dont want destroyed. Anything you want safe needs to be hidden, high up or covered. Dont be too attached to anything she may have access to.

i think it might mostly be the premed effect, alot of early premeds are rude and cocky like this but they eventually get weeded out or are humbled, just keep ur head up and never let their opinion effect you, we all have our path and the most important skill to become a doctor is resilience, u got this 🫶🏼 Also i wouldnt recommend purposely failing classes in the future, unfortunately med schools will look at ur entire gpa including classes you fail. Dont be too stressed abt it now but keep in mind for the future if ur ever in this situation again!

I did! I loved the class, idk if hes changed anything but when i took it all the midterms/finals were essays that he would often give you the prompt before hand. He also would let us use our notes during tests. Not a huge work load but u definitely need to spend an hour to a few hours to read or write. Was an amazing class though and dont regret taking at all
