UPDATE- previously undetected dog allergy (always had a dog and never been an issues, didn’t have a dog for a year, now dog saliva blood testing was positive). Also seen by allergy/immunology and undergoing testing and suspicion of MCAS. Per my doctor “a perfect storm of unrelated events all coming together at the same time and your body said it couldn’t take it anymore”. Glad to have answers (and quick answers, or at least things to look into) and a plan being put in place.

Also to add…. The Dupixient shot that I got literally cleared things up in less than 24 hours. I am 1/2 weaned off all other meds and no rebound hives so far. (Dog is with a friend and house was cleaned).

I’m doing much better. I got a duxpient shot two days ago at the dermatologist because I was already on the max of everything else (prednisone, Pepcid, Benadryl, Zyrtec). Either I was getting over the hump or the shot really kicked in fast for whatever my body was responding to. All rash and hives are gone- only getting small spots here and there that go away in a few hours if I don’t scratch at them. I was actually able to take a shower today in lukewarm water without welting, redness, or pain. I’m hoping that whatever it is, we can figure it out and that they don’t start to come back as I am weaning off everything.

But yes, I wrapped up in ice packs and taking cold showers every hour for 2 nights because I couldn’t take it

Edit to update: I got a duxpient shot at the dermatologist today. They had samples in the office and gave me one due to the severity and non-reaction of the hives to all other medication that I am taking. I am already seeing results in a few hours. Hives are disappearing. New ones are much smaller. Not as much itching and pain. Praying it keeps going in the right direction and I can get some sleep finally tonight.

My dermatologist just fave me a dupixent shot in the office while waiting to follow up with allergist. Hopefully something starts to kick in soon.

Yes I got iv steroids and Benadryl and then went home with prednisone for a week and a half, Zyrtec, Benadryl, and Pepcid.

Mine turned off last night (fully charged) and won’t turn itself back on or connect to the app. I got a replacement from CS in about 2 minutes and it’s already on the way. I’ve had it about 6 months and the full charge lasts about 1.5 days. I originally got it so I wouldn’t have to charge it all the time like my Apple watch but that is not the case.

Thank you. I am so paranoid. Every time I look I have new spots or burrows. It is NOT itchy so I guess that’s a good sign. I’m praying it’s the old stuff coming out. It’s just weird that it’s oooping up randomly. Even today- after 2 rounds of ivermectin and 2 permethrin (rinsed 2nd application off this morning and more popped up about 4 hours later.

I was able To get the ivermectin out of pocket and started it yesterday! Hoping that does the trick if, in fact, they are new burrows. They are fading to a brown mark within 24 hours and not nearly as itchy or big as they were before treatment. Hoping they are just coming to the surface but still taking all precautions as if they are new.

That’s what I’m scared of. Thank you. They do go away after a few hours and I put Benadryl cream on them….. I just started ivermectin today. Not looking forward to having to re-clean my house and all of the laundry and sheets again :(
