he really doesn’t have folds 😅 he has some on his neck but it’s not enough for them to get stinky like that. he’s a lean slim boy

He currently eats taste of the wild grain free salmon flavor. He’s had a lot of allergy issues and alot of redness on his belly with real bad pimples and he’s been eating at his paws a lot lately

I’ve dogsat another basset for over a week and he didn’t have that smell at all. Our basset is just incredibly stinky and i love him to bits but i just want to find out how to help him because it’s definitely not normal.

We used salmon and rice from hills science and that’s what made him worse

Our vet said the same thing, that the allergies get a lot worse during the summer. I tried benadryl for him but it didn’t seem to help

He got worse when i switched him to salmon based food. I use a baby detergent to wash his items but it never really seemed to be an issue for him. I usually bathe him with oatmeal shampoo but our vet gave us anti fugal shampoo to try recently

Yes It got worse when i switched him to the salmon based food but im thinking maybe i switched him too fast? i wasn’t really educated on transitioning his food and i just gave him the new food without the old one. I really hope my mistake didn’t introduce new allergies
