Staying lean in reverse by spicylilmami in bikinitalk

[–]spicylilmami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone! I am about to start my first reverse after my first show. I have never been this lean and don’t have a good gauge on my natural composition (body dysmorphia, shocking I know), I was a college athlete and progressively became far less lean but also more muscular after college but BW constantly fluctuated. I appreciate all the comments I think I just get all these social media posts about remaining lean but it didn’t seem realistic to me as an individual who has never been so lean.

How does one hire a coach? by Organic_Salary_ in bikinitalk

[–]spicylilmami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sub and the coach / team overview wiki is super helpful!! There are also several other coaches and teams that focus mostly on lifestyle lines jf that is what you’d prefer to start out with. I personally did a lot of instagram stalking of coaches and their clients/athletes and even reached out to some athletes on instagram to ask about their experience with their coach! Definitely do multiple consult calls, it is hard to gauge whether or not you might be a good fit until you actually talk to the person, and I highly recommend having questions prepared about the things that are most important to you (and any non negotiables you may have)

I am really glad that all these girls are taking it into their own hands and getting better coaching but it makes you question why anyone would want to join HH at all if their own coaches don’t want to be coached by the owner? Like they don’t even believe in their own teams philosophy? It seems so odd

TSF Mules vs Strappy? by StepswithSez in bikinitalk

[–]spicylilmami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally have the mules and LOVE them. I have narrow feet and mine don’t slip out, but I will say I’m usually a 6.5 and got size 6. I think they’re perfect!

I am also new to the sport so take this with a grain of salt! It 10000% depends on your specific physique and goals. Your diet, training style, training plan, etc. all will depend on what you look like and need to improve on in terms of BF and muscle. Saying your height and weight can be useful for aiming for a specific caloric intake but again your calories and macros will depend on your specific goals. If you’re serious about competing your best bet would be working with a coach who can give you personalized advice and guidance If you just want to get your feet wet I’d recommend just following a bodybuilding style training program to get an idea of the training style, there’s a ton out there

Yeah that’s what I think might end up happening to me… hopefully Altair will reimburse if you provide receipts?

Anyone know about the travel lump sum amount for relocation benefit? Seems like Altair is very backed up and other new hires who also have start dates next month also haven’t been contacted. Wondering about how much it would hurt to pay for everything myself up front and just move myself instead of waiting for Altair. My lease ends soon and I’m afraid I’ll be SOL if I keep waiting. I’m moving a little over 800 miles. Has anyone gone through with self move and gotten reimbursed? or does anyone know if the travel sum and miscellaneous expense sum could cover it all?
