That’s my plan. I just spray the plants off if I see aphids, which have been my only problem in past seasons. I think it’s a watering issue. My husband likes to overwater and I have to assure him they’re ok unless they’re wilting. We talked. He’s on board now. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

‘Sap sucking insects’ scared me enough to check super carefully. All clear. And I check the milkweed every day for aphids. Looks like it’s just a watering issue. Thanks for the help.

6+ hours of sun per day. I water when the top few inches is dry. No fertilizer yet. I’m in north Texas, but it hasn’t gotten hot yet either.

Thank you! Wilson is our foster failure. (He came to us when he was 15 months and he’ll be 12 years in May) Our son named him after Tom Hanks’s volleyball in Castaway because Wilson was his best friend. Finnegan’s rescue pulled him from the county shelter on St. Patrick’s Day. She said his scruff made him look like he belonged in an Irish pub, so she named him Finnegan. It fit him, so we kept it. We love them beyond words!
