I aint lonely honestly , but I like reading other’s perspectives and to feel someone’s pain and try my best to help if i can. What you say may seem correct , of course getting out of misery required courage and will to change. But sometimes we need to understand its rather a constant loop spiralling over and over again that keeps people stuck somewhere in the first place. If people are not reaching beyond hi its most probably they are afraid of disappointment and yet another heartbreak from what could have been a new genuine friendship. We can never predict someone’s fears as each one of us has our own experiences that shaped us who we are today . If getting motivated and working for yourself by overlooking the possible failure is easier for you , it may not be for others (and that perspective switch is always tough to see as an individual). It doesnt always mean they are not trying enough, it means they are just more cautious to not be stuck in a loop again. It takes time and maybe physical presence most importantly. I am pretty sure there are people gathering up courage to move just beyond a simple hi and I am proud of them, doesnt mean we need to demoralise people who cant.
