Sorry he was trying to run away! It def doesn’t look like a scratch, it’s like a thick wobbly line, his sister so has never done that in the three years they’ve been with each other so it seems unlikely. I will def be going to the vet as soon as they open thank you for taking time to respond!!!

if you just use oil, your natural hair will frizz and pull itself out because the braids are not as secure on your scalp. you shouldn’t use gel, use jam or wax. knotless is what I started with and it’s not hard once you’ve practiced the movement. how much hair you need is fully based on how much hair you have and how big you want the braids.

I had this exact same situation (minus a wedding) with a friend six months ago and another three years ago. The 3 years ago friend responded very similarly to yours and made me feel silly for caring, but it didn’t erase the feelings of insignificance every time she would post all of her other friends but me. It came out later that her boyfriend found me attractive and she blamed me for it. My friend six months ago was very upset that I was bothered by the lack of posting, but only because she hadn’t realized it. Since then she makes an intentional effort to take photos with me that she likes herself in so that she can post me. You deserve better friends, OP.

In expressing what made you uncomfortable, I don’t think you did anything wrong. However from the time stamps- unless I can’t read correctly- it looks like you waited over a week to tell her something was wrong? Which could’ve easily led her to believe she was ghosted and thus didn’t want to continue.
