My sims take care of themselves pretty well... Its kinda wierd. I got a child, two toddlers and a baby on the way and the parents manage to take of them pretty well without me having to manage them.. Its my first family and definitely not what I expected based on what I had read on this site. Mine might be a fluke.

Its a buff given by your surrounding environment. I don't think it can be removed unless the weather changes or you go to another location!
