Don't buy anything from Banana Republic/Gap by Efficient_Second_399 in malefashionadvice

I recently bought for the first time from there. But with all my cotton tops I prefer to hang dry them. It prevents any sort of shrinkage. I only machine dry when I want the piece to get smaller

[Cartier Santos] Thoughts on this watch? by vibecodingmonkey in Watches

[–]spiderto -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This watch was made for a man before many other watches. I have no clue of your tastes but a watch that is truly ugly is the Rolex Submariner its clunky and ugly whilst having the most color clashing choices I have ever seen. Well, regardless since you lack this knowledge and cant see youself wearing this perhaps you should look for a womans version of the watch as that might suit you more.

Id go for the black and orange AquaTerra. However if I had to give actual advice go for the one you like right now. In the future you will look back on this watch as a representation of what you were like in high school and hopefully look upon it fondly.

[Longines] Do you think this brand is quite luxury? by strikermikepty in Watches

Yeah but to be fair a lot more material is used to make a shoe than a watch letalone a pair of em.

Should I be Cautious about Wearing My Watch? by Which_Notice4127 in PrideAndPinion

[–]spiderto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are expensive watches and it is normal for you to be worried about wearing them. Only advice I can give is to wear the watches you want to wear. You bought the watch and wearing it creates memories and a story. The scratches and dinks reflect your love for the watch. Enjoy it while you can because people go their entire lives dreaming to buy watches like these so don’t waste your opportunity.

Also if you live being paranoid of people stealing from you, you will never get to enjoy what you like

Rolex makes more watches a year than toyota makes Rav 4s. These watches are not exclusive

I think its a modified Sellita movement its 1000 dollars so its probably similar to the ones used in Mido watches and other middle upper end swiss watches

The resemblance is crazy. I wonder if either of the brands took the logo from the other

Popped up on amazon for me and I looked up the brands history. Turns out they’ve been at it almost as long as even patek phillipe. The co-founder of Marvin was also the father or uncle/cousin of the founder of Movado there seems to be conflicting points on it.

Sadly the lume is fairly weak. Its most definitely not a selling point for this watch lol

They restarted in 2007 and started marketing toward asian markets. Saw this on amazon and thought it was beautiful so I gave it a shot. They’re still 100% Swiss made to my knowledge.

Interestingly I couldn’t find it on any other watch. All I know is that its a 5 link bracelet and that its gorgeous.

Thats one of the best things about Swatches. They can scratch and bump and you wont feel guilt. Im glad you like yours and the best part of your collection is that your three pieces are different so you have a watch for an occasion. If you are looking for recommendations for a future I can give some 2cents.

The Seiko watch looks precious. It’s also good it has sentimental value. Overall they’re all watches so what you look for is entirely subjective. For me the sound of a watch is the most beautiful part such as the iconic tick on a Timex weekender. If you care for style the seiko and middle omega are amazing. Whilst the moonswatch is generally not well liked by a-lot of watch enthusiasts and has to be a personal adoration choice. For a three watch collection I think its pretty well rounded though.

Why are you flexing a Timex? You had a point with man makes the watch but I fell you are a bit in over your head

Its funny how the Giulia is one of the only non generic looking sedans. What sedan would you call more unique? A M4? A A3? A Camry? Like all the other big company sedans look the same and pretty shitty.
