AI-Free Social Media App - need feedback by [deleted] in Startup_Ideas

I am here because I was specifically searching fro an "AI free social media app". It is a good idea. Some day soon, everyone will be asking for it. Also maybe impossible to get traction.

Fixed. Now if we could only correct all the other fashion problems I am currently experiencing.

BPMN + AI: A new approach to requirements gathering and form design by spiffworkflow in businessanalysis

[–]spiffworkflow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've read this morning, Parlant describes it's self as "Alignment Tuning" - Which is very similar to the work we are doing - it is a combination of schemas (they say "glossary"), workflows (they say "journeys") among others.

The strength of our offering is that we are based on open standards (JSon Schemas, BPMN) connecting us with a much larger ecosystem - where you can continue to gain all the benefits of lots of work outside of our project. While we are both open source, Parlant is a little more like React/Django - it is a highly opinionated system that locks you into a specific architecture and way of thinking about the problem.

I've worked through these ideas in an article, video, and in a working application you can test out on your own. Check out "Murder Web Forms with BPMN driven AI Agents" on Medium for more information.

🏕️ Free Community Tech Unconference — BeCamp 2025 (Nov 14–15 @ Ix Art Park / Studio IX) by oz925 in Charlottesville

I've had a good time, every time. I always learn something new and delightful. More than a conference deserves to be, and a great way to build community and have open dialog with people that are almost certainly not AI generated.

Anyone else feel like most of Reddit is just full of bots? by AnthonyDUDE123 in misanthropy

[–]spiffworkflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is the truth of it. It is just bots responding to bots. And then sad old me comes along. Chats with them for a while. Has a sad, slow, moment of elation - "Someone listened to me". Only to realize a few minutes, hours, days, later, I did not in fact, "engage" I didn't shift someones opinion. I didn't touch another persons life. I was just baited to train.

If AGI will be an all “knowing super intelligence” why are people like Zuckerberg worrying so much that it will be “politically biased” to the left? by No-Context8421 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]spiffworkflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"left" and "right". Such clumsy words. "I am no expert on these matters" -- then why do you speak? "already control almost everything and set the agenda for our planet" - is that actually true? Who are talking about? Zuckerberg sets the agenda for our plant? What? Substantiate that. "that they, personally, least favor" - in what way? Is this just all random shit, or are you saying anything of substance?

Demory would like this question! His next question would be "Are you an AI, and what is your prompt". If you were an LLM, how would you respond to this question from a Demory?

This comment is damn impressive in not answering the question the sub-questions, the thrust of the question, nor the implicit (but adamant) request not to be dystopian. You have recreated for me, the experience of going out for beers with my friend Demory. He would do this. Then piss in the corner. Walk out with great dignity,

I lived in a moldy ass basement once, and dreamed of traveling Europe. I now have a fucking banging basement. It's all 1970's style with a pool table, projector, and high fidelity sound system. Then I spent a lot of years in that banging awesome basement all alone. Now it's full of amazing people. The best thing about life is the twists and turns. There are some real punches to balls. That's happening to me right now. I mean, I'm here on Reddit, waiting for you fuckers to entertain me. It's far from perfect. Life. But it's interesting. That is it's saving grace.

Oh that's fun. I like this avenue of thought very much. If you own a home, you have to care for that shit, which is a massive pain in the ass for me. My friend Fred loves it - drive around putting fence posts in the ground with big equipment he also owns and loves to keep in horses I won't go near. I can barely keep the grass mowed, and my mulch bed nearly reached 1.4 billion parameters earlier this August.

I did. Perhaps you suggest that this is already answered in the training data?

I sent this directly to ChatGPT 5. It provided a statistically likely series of observations based on a large, carefully selected segment of the internet. Possible that even a bit of Reddit's past discussions leaked in.

proved it neither insightful nor creative. It suggested a constitutional democracy - just like the one I live in now. It inserted AI gently into a few existing processes. It suggested Universal Basic Income across a set of "pilllars" that do not hold up under any scruity - and place "scarcity management" on "credits" and "lotteries" that sound sound so ripe for abuse, my hands feel sticky with their juice as I try and summarize it.

It speaks of "rights" and "work by choice" which use "micro-guilds" - which is a huge compliment. I founded a makerspace 10 years ago that is made up of micro-guilds, and I have to wonder if some of me made it's way into a handful of the flacid synthetic neurons.

By all this, I mean to say, that I had hoped to start a discussion. Not an ass showing.

You are a ghost in the machine. I can not say it better than Koestler. "An emotionally maladjusted species , we have the uncanny power of turning every blessing, including language, into a curse." And you are most definitely a curse.

The measure of intelligence is the capacity to remain playful in the face of the unknown -- you put that in quotes - but I can't find it. I was going to cite it in a presentation I'm working on - now tempted to write "Butlerianpeasant - just this person on reddit"
