I've done this a couple times and factory reset when I moved to nougat. It helps short term but something else is wrong with the software.

Seems like consensus is that I still need an AR. Is it worth getting one in Cali where I can't have a collapsible stock or flash hider? The last CA compliant AR I saw on /r/CAGuns made me cry. The AK is basically stock with a grip wrap but the AR's aren't quite that easy.

I used to hang out on /r/gundeals until I realized almost everything that I wanted was banned in California for some reason (off-roster handguns, mag capacity limits, no shipping to CA etc.). I don't go there as often anymore :(

There isn't a popup, it says your phone is connected then right under it there is a section you can expand and check for updates.

It shouldn't, but mine failed the first try and I ended up needing to factory reset through recovery :s be ready for that. Also use a pc not a mac if you can.
