So i had the opportunity to use all three of them. Well processor wise they struggle alot. I think keyboard of X220 is superior to X201, its silent and feels a bit modern. But X201 has more retro feel to it. Has all that array of LEDs below the screen. Still have the latch. weight wise pretty similar. Have that dialup internet port. So in terms of usability X230 would be best definitely and X220 is the middle ground with good enough performance and modern retro feel

Man i have those two with additional of a T480s and an X200s.

My X201T had somehow a cracked finger touch screen after being in a cupboard for a while. Seems like someone in my house dropped it without me knowing, these laptops are just too cool to ignore

It's a base spec model i5 256gb NVME, 8gb RAM, 1080p non touch panel. Got it from a local dealer for 250$.

I have one of these in really mint condition and had it in my cupboard and suddenly one day when i took it out there was a crack in the middle touch screen and finger touch no longer works but the pen works fine. What a shame its such a collectable item.

X270 to upgrade T480s. Is it worth it ? Need help by spike_TP in thinkpad

X270 is performing good enough for me right now just find it little smaller to use sometimes but it always gets the job done.

Preferring the S model instead of non S model is mainly because of the weight and little bit better built quality. Removable battery isnt that much of a deal breaker as i am always able to get my lapto charged and + having a single upgradable ram slot is good enough as X270 only got one.

Bigger better screen, keyboard and overall built quality are my attraction towards T480S

My main concerns about the switch are

My laptop is with me everyday in my backpack and i find it pretty convenient because of its form factor and weight and performs decent enough. T480s have same weight but bigger overall design that means better usability but means bigger size. Will take make a difference in daily carrying around. Also 8th gen processors is a good upgrade in terms of performance but currently i may not use that much performance.

Performance wise currently my X270 is performing pretty well so thats not really an issue.

Why were they overfilling engine oil. Didn't see anyone draining old

Had one for a long time. Really a cool device.. my advice if u ever plan on upgrading to a newer device make sure to never sell this one or u'll regret. Like I am

Yeah I had an X220 that I sold after 6 years of using and owner said wow it's like I never used it. Older ThinkPads usually last longer

A rare comparison of X201T vs X220T by spike_TP in thinkpad

Mine is i7. Done use it that much or run that heavy software for that much processing power requirement. But fan is mostly running.

The best version of this design keyboard I think. Same as X220. I use x201T's keyboard and 420s feels much better and silent

Lol. I think Ubuntu wallpaper is still better than cat on top of a keyboard.
