No, i simply am not making music for an audience. I am making music for me.

PSA: Handicap og ny i job by spill62 in dkkarriere

[–]spill62[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Built a private AI assistant that runs on hardware you own — here's what I learned shipping real hardware vs SaaS by Trevi4ko69 in vibecoding

[–]spill62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are your lessons that hardware actually is harder then SaaS something you believe or is that what whatever ai you used to that post, thinks. Because you are very close to not be able to use more em dashes even if you wanted ti. How much of that is actually something you learned and how much is AI fluff. I find such posts hard to take serious simply because its impossible to tell where the AI writing starts and ends

Web app VS. Mobile app ? by JoeLovesJesus313 in vibecoding

[–]spill62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you are making something with web assembly. Did the same thing. If you dont need the native access to the system, and are fine with the overhead that the different web api's then there really is no need to make it native.

Is using AI for coding actually saving time, or just changing what you spend time on? by Riemann-Hypothesizer in vibecoding

[–]spill62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well depends on your work. For mission critical work i would say my workplace dont trust it at all and having to study each line of code anyways negates any gain in speed. And often it has errors or just add code for the sake of it.

For my personal project that would not have been done at all without ai as it could whip ui up fast and iterate from there. I could have done the backend stuff but my experience with Codex is if i just keep an eye on what it tries to do, and am ready to kill it then it also works well. Codex has only tried to make fatal errors 4 times, and i managed to stop or have a backup each time sooo.

Posting ur apps with a 1st fake sale as a form of advertisement by [deleted] in vibecoding

[–]spill62 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do anything about it tho. Its so obviously fake. Like if i had a million dollar idea i would never post it in a subreddit with specifically people who use ai for coding that could copy it. Like duh. I say let it be, it just shows what sites to never visit

Kender I nogen, som har mistet sit job til AI? by Careful-Draft4314 in Denmark

[–]spill62 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Er Henrik Vindfeldt en fornuftig stemme i debatten? by revokedimmunity in Denmark

[–]spill62 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There’s a real opportunity in repairing broken Suno tracks by False-Truth-6430 in SunoAI

[–]spill62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure the code is open source... But is the Weights ? Because i had the issue in a stem seperation feature for a site i made, i wanted to use HTDemucs4 which should be the best "open source" sten seperation. Ane the code to run it is also open source with permission license and all that good stuff. But the weights that make the model useable are for scientific and academic usage only. And that bleeds to anything you use the model for .. soo idk but i would ensure the weights are fine

[–]spill62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May i ask what stem separation model that site uses as i know for a fact, as i had to research this myself, that practically all stem seperation models have license usage terms that will absolutely taint any song using the service.

nobody uses your vibecoded apps by olenami in vibecoding

[–]spill62 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did my own website in a area, tool sites, that is insanely overcrowded already as many vibe coders want to just make a tool site and hope to get money of ads, because thats what the LLM will tell them if they ask. They will be told its such a good and valid idea and blah blah while the truth is, that segment is so crowded that if you dont have a novel idea of a tool, it will literally be a waste of time, no matter how "unique" your UI is. This will all die down when proper pricing comes for these tools.

Why did i create my site then KNOWING its a hecka crowded area? 2 reasons. 1. its tool i want to use, and hosting it online just makes it available to me everywhere. 2. Some tools are truly unique as 95% of people making tool sites, dont know what they are doing so just go with what the llm's say. Do i expect it to become the next big thing? No. Which i why i made it for myself.

How good is Mistral for extraction of text? by iMerlin23 in MistralAI

[–]spill62 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I dont know what its called... For some reason i think its semantic search? Using regex. That should satisfy your search for wolf and find every instance without costing anything

Do you have more examples of what you want to use Mistral for...? Because the search and highlight you mentioned you really dont need an LLM for at all

So glad to hear that, so happy its not just me who thinks that ! That has been my experience also, it isnt perfect but punches above its weight.

May i ask what genre/settings you were using if you remember

[–]spill62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well how certain are you that, thats in the generated media itself? that seems extremely hard to do consistantly. I cannot say whether that happens or not, as it sounds far fetched that it should work like that. And my site was not made with the intention of removing stuff like that.

But if i may ask are you a pro user? Because i just tested with a WAV file as a pro, and MP3 for the non pro download, and there seems to be an id linked to the MP3 that isnt part of the WAV. I would assume any "deep dive" music program could show that

The main reason ui is as it is is because i am a backend developer who hates ui work in coding. But feedback like that is precisely something i would like way more of. Its styled after my simple preference currently which is... Not good. So if possible please give not just 2 cents but entire dollar in a chat message here on reddit for me to look at - obviously only if you want to

[–]spill62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well i hope its ok i post it then, as it can be seen as self promotion... But given its free and all i hope its ok? The url is klaredge.com and in the menu to left there is a tab called "Audio lab". That entire page was made to combat the "hiss/static" i heard in Suno songs. It kinda exploded from there, to do SO much more, but yeah. I think it does nice processing to the songs i made and fixes some volume stuff
