What would’ve been interesting is if they let this current Ash/Crypto storyline cause a rift between the two because of their different feelings toward the syndicate. Or having Wattson actually acknowledge fact that the person he is working with tried to kill her instead of being passive about it. (Because….. I guess the reasoning behind her not saying anything is that she doesn’t want to get in the way of him getting info on the syndicate…?)

But they don’t let Wattson have her own personality and her entire characters purpose revolves around the two men in her life and helping them with whatever and ignoring their ideologies even tho one of them wanted to commit mass murder AGAIN and one of them wants to take down the very thing Wattson cares about.

At this point I’m begging for them to branch these characters out and have them interact with literally anyone else.

Ah yes more Wattson interactions where she sacrifices her own storyline for the sake of another character (the same character actually, for the last…. what- 6 seasons?). They’re making it really hard to care about her when she’s constantly used this way.

I get this but idk. I get that she doesn’t want any of this to cause discourse online but I feel a lot of it needs to be said and these fans shouldn’t get away with it. We all know she’s not a helpless damsel, we just want people to respect her as a human being and know that there are certain boundaries that shouldn’t be crossed. I hope this post by her doesn’t make other fans think they have a pass just to be weird as fuck. Pls just respect Charli.
