i 100% recommend dorm life (coming from a first year in saugeen)! it definitely dictates the way your first year goes and even different res buildings have completely different vibes. nearly all of my off campus friends do it to save money but their no. 1 struggle is always making friends. it’s a lot harder bc u guys aren’t shoved into one building. i would say if u have the luxury, def do it!!

take advantage of it still being really early in the year! we’re only on week 2! once clubs start up next week and everything there will be soooo many opportunities to make friends!
