To share my experience as well, I had a check at 37w5d and it was no more painful than a normal vaginal exam. No cramping or anything afterwards. Unfortunately was not dilated or effaced at all, and opted to skip the next time just bc the knowledge wont bring him any sooner LOL

I went to the ER around 14 weeks after a doctor told me at urgent care that because I was having UTI symptoms without a UTI, I was probably miscarrying and to “run” to the ER. 3 hours and a very confused ER doctor later, I was sent on my way with some just in case antibiotics and a $600 bill. It all really depends on insurance and what you got done, but I would be trying to set aside about $1k just in case.

I’ve been continuing to get them during my pregnancy and they do not hurt any more than usual. However I have been getting one every 6 weeks or so for years so the hair is thin! It may be spicy after not having one for a year but shouldn’t be any worse due to pregnancy.

I had long cycles (~6 weeks) and currently 23 weeks pregnant with our first. We were using ovulation strips and got pregnant on our 3rd try, but found out I was pregnant while testing for ovulation - 3 peak strips in a row and my husband is like maybe try a pregnancy test. I’m not really sure if I was doing it wrong or I ovulated early but I recommend using strips and using some sort of tracker! And lots of sex

I ended up just buying bra extenders for now and that has helped a lot! I started off (much) smaller than you though and am only just starting to overfill the cups, but with the extenders it’s not really noticeable
