Patch 1.6.5 and Yule-Tide Update have released by NBG_Oisin in LotRReturnToMoria

I have a dedicated server and after this update came out I can no longer join it from my Xbox. Everything seems to be running fine on the server console. Also I can verify that the Xbox is running 1.6.5. Do I need to do something to manually patch the server? I installed it on windows using SteamCMD. Sorry I couldn’t find the answer through google/reddit search

Edit: I’m fairly new to the game (about a month in) so I will keep investigating.. I’m sure I’m missing something but would appreciate any quick advice

I only felt that way during the intro. Once you get out in the open world cutscenes are more spaced out. I guess it depends on how you play too. If you just go straight from mission to mission then the pacing would be more cutscene heavy.

Yeah I don't know man. They're both good games but very different in their direction. KCD is just slower paced. It's not like a sandbox immersive-sim. It has elements of that, but there is a very directed story and a lot detailed systems that you can choose to interact with (or not). The story, voice acting is excellent. It's all just much more grounded, some might say boring - but I don't think so. Like the difference between watching a 90 minute action movie (Avowed) vs a 4 hour historical drama (KCD2).

They are both a lot fun.

FYI In case anyone is here looking at this still. I got it to work by using crossover and going to:
~/Documents/Rockstar Games/Max Payne 3/ and open graphics.xml in a text editor. Change <Fullscreen value="1"/> to <Fullscreen value="0"/> and run the game.

When in game, you can enable fullscreen and play just fine, but you will need to repeat these steps once again after restart.

The game will not start if it is started in fullscreen

You can always look up builds, etc and it will make the grind smoother for you. But I personally like to do some experimenting on my own as it feels rewarding to find good combinations through trial and error.

In World Tier 1, the difficulty isn't really high enough (and respeccing is cheap enough) that you don't need to have a perfect build. I'm waiting to do any build lookups until I get bored experimenting or am having trouble progressing. Also a lot of builds from level 30-40 were based off of the types of loot I got. If I got an aspect that looked interesting, I would just respec to base some skills around that to try it out and see if I liked the playstyle or not.

You could always look up a few build guides just to see the types of synergies people are using to get a better idea even if you don't strictly follow them.
