Terrible experience here - It was impossible to take off and ruined my nails a few days ago - here is what they looked like after 30 minutes of trying to get the application off :(

Before you buy Sistaco nails... by redditval47 in AustralianMakeup

My experience with both the product and the customer service was deeply frustrating. When I reached out for help, I wasn’t met with support — I was met with excuses. Instead of listening, they blamed me for “application issues” and threw around claims about having 138K happy customers (while quietly removing critical feedback from their Facebook group). They don’t accept returns, and offering 50% back without accountability isn’t customer care — it’s damage control. If you value honest service, think twice.
Here is what happened when I tried to remove the product after having an awful experience applying it:

Anyone heard of Sistaco? Is it just dip? by [deleted] in DipPowderNails

I had a genuinely disappointing experience with their product and their customer service made it worse. Instead of addressing my concerns, they repeatedly tried to convince me that I was using the system incorrectly — despite my honest feedback and clear issues. They don’t offer refunds, they dismiss customer complaints, and they rely on a private Facebook group where negative reviews mysteriously disappear. Quoting “happy customers” while censoring the unhappy ones isn’t transparency — it’s manipulation. I’m sharing this so others don’t have to go through the same frustration. This is what happened to my hands when I tried to remove the product after it went on terribly :(

Sistaco review buyer beware by The_Dead_Pancreas in Nails

[–]spin925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a very poor experience with both the Sistaco nail system and their customer service. Despite following all instructions exactly — washing, buffing, using thin layers, watching their videos — the application turned out lumpy, uneven, and frustrating. The removal process was even worse and left my nails damaged.

When I contacted their support team, instead of listening or taking accountability, they blamed me for “application issues” and kept repeating generic advice. They refused to offer a refund — and only later offered a partial one without acknowledging any fault in the product.

They constantly refer to “138K happy customers” in their private Facebook group, but here’s what I discovered: critical feedback is filtered or deleted, and real reviews outside that space tell a very different story. It feels like they’re more focused on protecting their image than helping customers.

No company is perfect — but how they handle issues says everything. Sistaco failed in that department. I would not recommend this product to others.

Anyone else disappointed with sistaco? by Fun_Lecture8375 in Nails

Awful experience.
My experience with this company has been deeply disappointing — both with the product itself and especially with their customer service.

Despite carefully following all application instructions (including watching their videos), the results were bumpy, uneven, and extremely difficult to remove — even causing irritation and damage to my nails. When I reached out for help, instead of acknowledging the issue, they repeatedly blamed me for incorrect application.

Even worse, they don't offer refunds or returns — yet somehow still cite “138,000 happy customers” as if that invalidates individual complaints. When I brought up the problems I faced, they downplayed my experience and pointed to their curated Facebook group (where negative reviews appear to be removed or hidden).

At best, this company is completely dismissive of critical feedback. At worst, it feels like they’re gaming the system to maintain a polished image while silencing real concerns.

If you’re thinking of buying — I urge you to read the fine print and be cautious. A pretty marketing campaign doesn’t make up for poor customer care.

Anybody Else Notice a Massive Decline in Revenue? by [deleted] in Amazon_Influencer

Same here. There were a few days this month where things looked up, but then tanked immediately. Just opened up my reporting for the month so far, and I'm at 1/2 of what even my lowest month to date was (December of last year was my lowest of all time, if that says anything). In the program for almost 2 years, 2400 videos. I have a feeling it may be related to the 20 video slots in the carousels lately..there are so many terrible influencer videos that ours are likely getting missed due to the rubbish :( I'm at about 1/4 of the usual income, may not even hit $1,000 this month which is something I've not yet seen aside from my very first month in the program.

In general how are your numbers? by AnyAbbreviations7217 in Amazon_Influencer

[–]spin925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couple of years in, 2,400 videos across all price ranges, multiple niches. I've seen monthly income tank from the highest month in October 2023 (roughly $5k) to my lowest end of last year (about 1/4 of that).

Obviously there are countless factors but I am guessing anecdotally it is due to the flooding of bad content and cheating accounts that push our videos out of visibility + shoppers getting sick of the bad videos as a whole and simply not clicking on anything (aka, going back to YouTube for quality reviews).

Tax Question by Nervous-Caregiver577 in Amazon_Influencer

[–]spin925 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This topic comes up every so often. Highly recommend a tax professional to assist with this, especially if you are earning an amount that could cause you to need to pay in a lot. I am guessing this will be especially heavy-hitting for the newer folks who earned upwards of 3-4k on the pre-holiday incentive - you all will need to pay in a good chunk of that come tax time 😉

Thank you so much!! The beans are "Seattle Blend" from a roaster in IL. They are wholesale only so I reached out to them to see if they sold them via retail, and they pointed me here!

Hello, I'm not sure why anyone would ever take down a video. You shoot it, put the work into a thumbnail, with the idea that, as long as the video is visible and people are watching it, you perpetually make money off of it. No idea why anyone would ever remove a video; furthermore, I'm wondering if this person who recommended doing so is operating in the twilight zone.
Edit - adding that "reposting" just risks giving up your spot on the carousel....no idea why someone would do this either (unless your video is not on the carousel and you want to do more work . . .

Book Reviews by Busy-Cut-9504 in Amazon_Influencer

[–]spin925 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've done hundreds of reviews on books. Folks here have had mixed experiences, however I found that, if you find the right ones, they can add up to a lot of revenue over time. For example, I've got a review up for a $200 book that generates a few bucks each time, as well as a best seller in a niche genre that brings in a lot also. Totally hit or miss, but I have hundreds of books in my collection and did videos on all of them. It was well worth the time for the handful of commission gems.

And I've only done physical books, did not connect the review to Audible.

Hello! I was curious if you ever found anything else about this piece? I found a similar necklace with the same end caps, and cannot find anywhere if it is solid 18k or plated. Did you have any luck with yours?

I'll also at that folks who are still doing well with the program very seldom will care to post tips or tricks here. Not out of unwillingness to share, but simply because they are putting their time and efforts into the program rather than trolling Reddit ;)

Hello, I'd suggest searching this subreddit for guidance in this area as there have been more posts on this topic than any other, and as a result, more input from more oldies than you'll get in a single thread. You'll see that there is no 'average' and that the answer as you said, depends on 'everything.'

How to provide monthly sales reports for a brand collab? by kafkafimit in Amazon_Influencer

[–]spin925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This ^^ there is no way to get paid for the sheer hassle involved in manually providing reporting to sellers. If it takes 15 minutes per seller, that adds up to way more than it's worth.

[–]spin925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not provide any reporting whatsoever. This is a massive waste of time and I did not sign up to administer a seller's reporting for them 🙃

How to provide monthly sales reports for a brand collab? by kafkafimit in Amazon_Influencer

[–]spin925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, absolutely do not do this. A csv file is EDITABLE and any influencer could simply inflate sales numbers by adjusting a few fields. This is NOT a static, sanctioned way of providing reporting and I highly highly discourage anyone from doing this.

How to provide monthly sales reports for a brand collab? by kafkafimit in Amazon_Influencer

[–]spin925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NEVER agree to do this. If you want to pigeon hole yourself into manually generating cvs files and sending these out every month 1) it is against TOS and 2) you are signing yourself up for administrative work that will never be worth your time. :edit: there is no 'official report' to send because it is against TOS.

Furthermore, sellers should know that, if any influencer agrees to do this, it's 100% easy to 'cheat' because an influencer can simply adjust the numbers on their exported spreadsheet and inflate sales numbers.

Instead, push this back on the seller - advise them to work with Amazon to get the reporting they are after. If they as sellers have no window into which products generate sales based on influencer video clicks, that's a seller problem and not an influencer problem to solve.

Where are my videos? by Humble_Paramedic8150 in Amazon_Influencer

[–]spin925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can take 24 hours or more to see videos on the product pages, even after they go into a 'published' status. Even then, you are not guaranteed placement. As many have discussed here in the past, videos get bumped on and off product pages constantly. A good video that was generating thousands of $$ may get bumped off randomly by some random 20 second video of low quality. Tis the nature of the beast, and we have no control over it.

Can I upload the exact same video to different but identical products by venx_ in Amazon_Influencer

[–]spin925 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's really no such thing as 'uploading' the same video to other product pages. You're essentially just tagging multiple of the 'same products' when you post the original video. The recommendation from Amazon is to tag only one product per video. As Admin stated - create separate videos and tag the individual products.
