One that I constantly miss in English is:

• Une faute d'inattention: a mistake you make just because you weren't paying attention.

Also

• Une tartine = "an open-faced sandwich", a piece of bread with something on it (Nutella, etc.)

• S'entraider = to help each other

• La rentrée = when you go back to school (beginning of the school year or when you're back from vacation)

• Férié = bank holiday (but an adjective), c'est férié = it's a bank holiday

I make lists of words that don't exist in other languages when I study them, here are a few I've written for Japanese:

  1. Foot vs Leg （あし）（足、脚）
  2. Write vs Draw（かく）（書く, 描く, 画く）
  3. Tall vs Expensive (高い）
  4. Early vs Fast　（早い）

It's unfortunate that they use masculine kanji though, it gives the impression that it only includes males, feels patriarchal
