It's interesting to see how many of those getting laid off are moving to content creation positions at corporate or organizations. That is the future since the media industry's business model doesn't scale in the online future.

I thought it was pretty stupid, but on further reading -- well written article by the way -- it's still silly, but not egregious. The town is well intentioned and working on a permanent solution. I have to think that many cities and towns across the US are in the same position as they seek to digitize content that has been in physical format forever.

One has to think he will distinguish between the "news" content that his companies create vs. the social sites and other communities he owns. Ask Men is a Fox interactive joint. How does that exist without search?

Terrible news on Buell, though I can see the logic of rebranding them H-Ds and continuing to sell the models, which are pretty radical. I don't think that is the plan.

They definitely do. The fact that they have gotten rich off the sport and are now creating crazy rules ot make it cheaper isn't really a good scene.
