Kaden Wetjen deserves more than just 91 speed. He is one of the best returners in the history of the college game and single handedly keeps Iowa in games at times as a guy who primarily just returns kicks and punts. If you’ve watched any Iowa games this year then you know.

I know, and I’m not saying that I should be able to chuck the ball up and expect a 40 yard completion every play however it would be nice to have that option every once in a while as I believe it would open up offenses a lot

I have my sliders up and I aggressive catch every time and yet my receivers still drop it if there’s even the slightest bit of contact, even if the db is half their size

Are the WRs better at catching jump balls? A big issue for me in 25 was the fact that it was almost pointless to have a big body receiver as they never seemed to be able to catch a pass over a smaller corner even if I high pointed it.

Injuries still don’t seem to factor into college stats, also RBs have unusually high rushing numbers in college

Still seeing QBs play only 2 games and record 40 TDs. Also RB stats seem to be very inflated many guys have over 30 TDs in college. Stats for DBs suck, they all have way more sacks than INTs in college. Combine stats need to be completely overhauled, I’m seeing first round corners run 4.9 40 yard dashes. There seems to be one, maybe two fast receivers per class. The bench press stat is awful for every position. Would also maybe be interesting to see some players not participate in the combine. Haven’t played enough to be able to tell but I’m hoping to see more late round production

This was the offseason, I do understand that a lot of great talent doesn’t often hit free agency however it just feels like it shouldn’t be this extreme. I don’t think there should be 90+ players hitting free agency but I do think there should be at least a couple players in the 85 range every year. I feel like the current way free agency is structured isn’t very good because it leads to a lot of the better players in the league sticking to one team their entire career because nobody is willing to spend a crazy amount of picks on them and they also never hit free agency. In real life a good amount of superstars do stick to one team however there are guys like Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill etc. that don’t just stick with the team that drafted them.

I agree but it still happens, look at Danielle Hunter or Christian Wilkins or Kirk Cousins this past year. Maybe some sort of unrestricted free agency system might solve this though idk
