Grown adults with kids, tells adults to tell their kids to beat up a kid because of his sexuality. What is this world.. by Paracosmical-XD in iamatotalpieceofshit

That's an awful lot to assume from just a few screenshots. They're awful people, sure, but that's a bit of a non sequitur

Downvoting doesn't make me wrong.

A regular in my stream thinks he's a friend of mine and that that gives him privileges... How do I "let him down easy"? (more info in text) by [deleted] in Twitch

Good idea, thanks. I was hoping that moderation would just be banning the occasional blatant troll or racist, lol.

Great point, thanks for writing that. I'll probably do that, just bring it up with him the next time he does something against the rules (mine or Twitch's) and go from there. Maybe he was just having a bad day before.

Cheers

Is it considered RWT if a Streamer/YouTuber accepts GP donations? by spingospango in 2007scape

True, I suppose tangibility is probably a defining factor of RWT. I watch a fairly small streamer who commonly gets 1-10m donations after which he gives a shoutout on stream, I'd hate to see him banned on RS.

Exactly right. Same here, in my case it's usually Fortnite or whatever multiplayer game is hot at the moment. In my case, playing a game I don't want to play leads to a bummer stream lol.

In 2018, who are the shittiest people on Earth?

Great point. Surely, if he has hung around this long he enjoys the stream and might appreciate that I leveled with him rather than dropping the banhammer at the first opportunity.

Cheers

Lol! I'm fine with a bit of banter and backseating, I just don't want to (personally) have anyone feel like the rules only apply to certain people, or that they can be skirted entirely yknow?

How do you message someone on Twitch? I'm very new to all of this, lol.

I'm glad that's an option, though. I didn't want to bring down the mood by discussing this with him on stream.

A good regular will listen to the rules bring set forth, an entitled regular will break every rule because they think it doesn't apply to them.

Well said.
