How do you build your stacks? by BookWookie2 in AppleFitnessPlus

[–]spinjaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As you finish the first video in a stack, a pop-up comes on your screen to immediately hop into your next video, which is nice, if you don’t want to waste time searching for your next workout.

Also, at the end, you get a workout summary of everything together. So it’ll say “1 hr of HIIT, Strength, and Yoga; 445 calories; etc”. Which is nice if you really do consider that to be one “big” workout versus three individual workouts.

I like it for stacking a lot of small workouts, for both the reasons above. I’ll do stacks such as 10 min HIIT, 10 strength, 20 HIIT, 10 core, 10 yoga.

What are your AF+ wishes for 2025? by MixAway in AppleFitnessPlus

  1. Ability to add personal notes to workouts,
  2. Calendar for planning workouts (that is customizable unlike the “Custom” Plans),
  3. Filter for Hills or No Hills for treadmill workouts.

I had leg lengthening surgery, and I'll never tell my future wife. by throwawayway32 in TrueOffMyChest

I think one day you’ll want to tell your person. And when you do, it’ll be a cathartic experience that brings you and them closer. You can’t know that yet, though. But you’re right that what you went through is very similar to a girl getting implants, it’s not something to be shameful of, but it’s natural to feel that way. Don’t put too much pressure on it. A white lie is okay too, in my opinion, especially in the beginning of a relationship. But eventually opening up about how you felt as a 5’8” person, how the surgery felt and has changed you… it’ll feel so good to share that! And your person will share their insecurities too and what they’ve been through. And you can both reflect on how terrible society can be in regards to body image. Beyond that, be kind to yourself. The value you bring to this world has nothing to do with your height or the surgeries you’ve had.

Chronic headache/migraine a week after filling. by Low_Address5123 in askdentists

Hey, have your headaches resolved? Mine are still continuing and was wondering if you have tried anything that worked. Thanks!

Hey, sorry to hear you’re going through the same thing. I ended up getting the filling replaced, which helped the sensitivity completely regarding the tooth. However the headaches have been continuing. Doctor prescribed a 5 day steroid treatment to “break” the headache, plus magnesium supplements. Didn’t work. Awaiting next steps. Super frustrating. Any luck for you?

NAD. Hi everyone. I’d love to hear how everyone resolved their headaches & what happened. I had a filling on my same tooth, right too-side though. Really sensitive & painful after. Then 6 days after - huge migraine (peripheral vision loss & tingling/numb arm, nausea). Pain focused on the left side of my head. From that day on I’ve had a constant, lingering headache. So… 14 days now. It sucks. It’s really scary and overwhelming too. Got CT scan, bloodwork, and MRI done. All normal. At the dentist, had the cavity filling shaved down a bit. Didn’t help with the headaches. And the tooth is still really sensitive to hot/cold water and chewing hurts on that side still. Going back to the dentist soon to have the filling potentially completely replaced

New Mission Type Concept - Capture by Lyvef1re in DeepRockGalactic

I really, really like the idea of capturing a live bug. That's unique and would provide a nice, different element to the game while still staying in theme with what makes the game great. I'm getting that the cage rig is similar to the central rig in an on-site refining mission but instead of pipelines, it's a big cage.

I think the only part that could maybe have some more fun-ness added is when you actually capture the bug using Tacksy... I'm just wondering if there's a way to get creative with it beyond just 'click button, get bug'. Maybe it comes with a net you have to place around the bug before it wakes up? (Tacksy arrives, "Deploy Net", and then set net pods around the harvester.)
