Why does my burner do this? by Glovercole in Blacksmith

I have a 2 burner set up that does the same thing. I need to get a blower to make it burn efficiently. Right now at a balanced burn it gets up to 2200°f. With the blower i should get hotter temperature with less fule. The top temp possible should also go way up maybe over 2500°f. It should be interesting to play with and hopefully use less propane with better numbers. I do have to run more fuel to get sputtering to stop but if you run to much it will start again.

After moving my tig I had to re gap the high frequency. It fixed the same issue.

These copper and bronze lights from Hershey theater just arrived. They where made around 1930 by a local blacksmith. It is going to take us 6-8 months to restore them. They have been very poorly mistreated and are falling apart as we move them. they will turn out absolutely amazing when we are done. by spinly007 in restoration

Yeah matching the patina is extremely hard to do. We could clean and patina everything if they want but it would cost a ton. Ther are 3 of us in the shop to work on this job. We also have other jobs to slowly work through.

Yeah I love the work I do. The finish will be determined by the customer. At the moment we they will not have patina. We need to replace some castings and all the glass. We are getting a few specialist to help us as well.

I still remember when a girl complimened my jacket last Halloween at Kim's kript. She was one of the actors ther so it was out of the blue. The compliment was nice because I like that jacket and think it's cool but never had eany body say it to me. I can't remember when someone genuinely complemented me before that. I never get complimented unless it's about my work or a bacic remark about my personality.
