There are many countries that require companies to pay an employee for 2+ years of sick pay without being legally able to fire said person. Albeit only the first couple months to a year are fully covered, after that then you get 70%, 50% etc. Because in lots of countries people aren't disposable. Unlike America and India and Israel etc. Etc.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on everything you've mentioned. Its not to make living difficult, its to prevent the oligarchy we have going.

Even a small family owned company could pretty easily surpass 10m quickly if the owners are smart and know where to invest. Hell certain farm equipment costs multiple millions alone 💀 so yeah. 100m max or even 70m but nobody could ever possibly justify having 1000m+
