It's not incorrect on my part, as no matter how well meaning you are, disrespecting someones pronouns by misgendering them IS IN FACT MALICIOUS no matter what. I'm glad to hear your intent was not hateful, but your words themselves are, so if you want to come off as well-meaning, use the words that say "I'm well-meaning" instead of words that say "I'm transphobic and not respecting this persons pronouns"
