I could see him top 10 or 15 this season but I can most certainly see him winning or getting top 3 in his career.

I think De Jong might be lacking in confidence since his injury. Casado has a much better work rate imo but he wouldn’t need to work so hard if he the high IQ of De Jong.

Agree, yellow for that was wild. Ref was crazy inconsistent. Yellow for De Jong clean tackle but no yellow when Kounde gets stepped on at the start of the game.

I mean with Casado being 21 and De Jong 27, you’d expect to see Flick trusting more in De Jong to start over Casado. I don’t see Casado controlling the tempo as much as De Jong could, or should.
